Amber Blew Anthony’s Money in One Weekend… And Ain’t Sorry About It!

[Scene: A luxury rooftop brunch spot in the city — loud music, clinking glasses, and laughter in the background. Amber, dressed in a designer outfit, lounges with her girls Brittany and Racquel, sipping champagne and scrolling through her phone.]

Brittany:
(laughing)
Girl, you really did it, huh? You out here spending like Oprah in her prime!

Amber:
(smirking, sipping her mimosa)
Oh, baby — Anthony said he wanted peace? Well, he paid for mine. Every single dollar of it.

Racquel:
(grinning)
Wait... the Cartier bracelet too?

Amber:
All of it. The bracelet, the bags, the penthouse suite, the jet to Miami — everything. That man funded a girls’ weekend and didn’t even know it.

Brittany:
(shaking her head)
Amber, you wild for this. But also… I love it. Like, unapologetically.

Amber:
(confidently)
And why should I apologize? Let’s be real. Anthony’s been throwing his money around like confetti trying to impress folks, but the second I touch a dime — suddenly it’s an issue?

Racquel:
(chuckling)
Girl, you ain't touched a dime — you grabbed the whole vault!

Amber:
Exactly. And he deserved it. The man got me out here looking like a fool for years, now he wanna act brand new ‘cause I finally moved on? Please. I’m just collecting emotional damages.

[The waiter arrives with another bottle of champagne and some truffle fries.]

Waiter:
Compliments of the house, ladies.

Amber:
(smiling)
Thank you, sweetie. Tell the manager we’re loving the vibe today.

Brittany:
(to Amber)
So what did Anthony say when he saw the charges?

Amber:
(casually scrolling through her phone)
Oh, you know him — texted me three paragraphs like he was writing a Bible verse. “How could you do this? I trusted you. This was supposed to be for Kai’s future.” Blah blah blah.

Racquel:
(rolling her eyes)
Please. He should’ve thought about Kai’s future before he got caught DM’ing that yoga girl.

Amber:
Thank you! Like, I was sitting quiet for months while he embarrassed me left and right. Now I go have a little fun — and suddenly I’m the villain?

Brittany:
Girl, you not a villain. You the main character. And you just had your revenge arc.

Amber:
(laughing)
Period. I told him straight up — this ain’t revenge, it’s reallocation. I simply redistributed the wealth where it was deserved.

[Scene shifts to later that evening — Amber is back at her luxury condo, FaceTiming with Anthony. The mood is tense.]

Anthony:
(snarling)
Amber, are you seriously proud of yourself right now?

Amber:
(sitting cross-legged on her bed, sipping wine)
Absolutely. You always wanted a woman who acts like she belongs in a music video — well, congratulations. I just blew your budget like I was Beyoncé on tour.

Anthony:
(fuming)
That money was for Kai’s tuition. I put it in that account to give our son a future.

Amber:
And I’m his mother, Anthony. You think I don’t care about his future? But guess what — his mother deserved a break. His mother needed to remember what it feels like to breathe, to laugh, to feel appreciated.

Anthony:
By draining the account?!

Amber:
Oh please. You spent double that on your “business trips” and hush-money sneakers. Don’t act brand new.

Anthony:
(shouting)
You had no right!

Amber:
I had every right. I stayed quiet while you humiliated me. I stayed humble while you made a joke out of our relationship. Now that I finally did something for me — I’m wrong?

Anthony:
You didn’t just do something for you, Amber — you made a whole statement.

Amber:
(smiling smugly)
Exactly.

[Silence. Anthony breathes heavily, trying to stay calm.]

Anthony:
So what now? You want me to just sit here and take it?

Amber:
No. I want you to see it. I want you to understand that I’m not that girl you used to walk over. I’m not the “yes baby” Amber. I’m her now. The one who’s not scared to stand up. Even if it means standing alone.

Anthony:
(sincerely)
Amber… I didn’t mean to hurt you like that. But what you did — that was low.

Amber:
Low was sitting at home waiting for a man who never came. Low was watching my self-worth rot while you flirted with every waitress in the city. This? This was therapy.

Anthony:
(dryly)
Expensive therapy.

Amber:
And worth every dollar. Because for the first time in a long time, I felt like me again. Not “Anthony’s girl,” not “Kai’s mom.” Just… Amber.

Anthony:
(softly)
You could’ve talked to me.

Amber:
You don’t listen, Anthony. You only hear what don’t make you uncomfortable.

Anthony:
So where do we go from here?

Amber:
(sighs)
I don’t know. But I do know this — I’m done asking for permission to live. If you wanna step up for Kai, do it. But don’t expect me to sit quietly anymore while you live your best life at my expense.

[Anthony stares at the screen, speechless. Amber ends the call without another word.]

[Scene shifts back to the rooftop brunch the next morning. Amber scrolls through her socials — a picture of her laughing, clinking glasses with the girls. The caption reads:]

“When peace cost a price… and I had the card.”
